Of the many getaway offers, shopping packages are available right within the Minneapolis City Center. Dubbed the Escape, the City Center Shopping Package, offers you loads of culture, an enviable foodie scene and shopping galore. This perfect winter getaway offer at $129 includes; deluxe accommodations, a $25 Macy’s gift card and breakfast for two.

The Minneapolis Marriott City Center is inviting all kinds of sports fans to enjoy baseball, basketball, football and more. They state that whichever sport you like, you are invited to stay for the season's games. Their rate of $139 is valid through December 31, 2010. The sports package includes: deluxe guest room accommodations, breakfast for two, "Tailgate Special" which includes one appetizer and two beers. The rate and package is available Thursday through Sunday.

Between July 1 and December 26, families staying at nearly 2,000 Marriott brand hotels can add Nickelodeon to their trip for an out-of-this-world family stay. Kids staying at participating hotels receive a free Nickelodeon activity book and a silicone bracelet with access to a secret game website.

The Nickelodeon "Your Stay package" is available for weekend stays and may be done through booking or purchase at the hotel subject to availability. At participating Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Spring Hill Suites, Residence Inn and Towne Place Suites hotels, the package comes with a Nickelodeon bag with sunglasses, a Build Your Own SpongeBob and a splash ball. And at participating JW Marriott and Marriott Hotels & Resorts, the package includes the same Nickelodeon bag plus a turndown service with pillowcase and bedtime book.

The choice of getaways is varied in Minnesota, only you can determine the limits.
