The Bell Museum of Natural History situated in Minneapolis, showcases the wonders of nature and the significance of research and conservation of the natural environment. The main theme in the historical museums is authenticity. The exhibitions portray most of the state’s habitats from the big woods to the numerous lakes.

The third category of museums is the science museums category that showcases all that deals with science, Imax, agriculture, dinosaurs, entomology, food and technology. The Science Museum of Minnesota is one of the spectacular places to visit. It has a top of the range collection of artifacts, a state-of-the-art three dimension cinema and a convertible dome omnitheatre. The museum has something for every body no matter their age. It is a great place for all the family members to explore and have fun. You will get the opportunity to cruise the bloodstream superhighway, navigate a virtual towboat down the great Mississippi River.
There are several other science museums in Minnesota that you can explore, they include; American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, Museum of Questionable Medical Devices in St. Paul and the Headwaters Science Center located in Bemidji.
